Restoration Counseling & Community Services
We reported and produced this 10-minute video to tell the story of Restoration Counseling & Community Services, an organization that helps men and women tackle their drug and alcohol issues, as they come out of prison. We helped RCCS paint a relatable, empathetic portrait of a stigmatized population. RCCS showcases the video on the home page of its website, and leaders play it for new and potential clients. We’ve also created many “social media videos” for RCCS–videos in the two-minute range that they utilize in their marketing and messaging efforts on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., as well as in e-newsletters. You can watch all of them athttps://vimeo.com/channels/rccs
The Daily Cardinal
This profile video was designed for the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s daily student newspaper, The Daily Cardinal. Former Cardinal staffers were interviewed, asked to recollect about their experiences working at the paper, and to share how they’ve utilized their Cardinal experiences in their current careers. The Cardinal uses these videos to help recruit aspiring student journalists.
Great River Landing
They’re men of color who’ve battled the challenges of homelessness, unemployment and incarceration. But now, they’re committing themselves to becoming productive community members, employees, and fathers. The Reporters Inc. tells the story of “Great River Landing” in this 12-minute mini-documentary. Great River Landing is a supportive housing development, spearheaded by the Minnesota nonprofits Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative and Better Futures Enterprises. They use this production during informational forums and presentations to share their plans, goals, and vision for Great River Landing.
We worked with a group dedicated to safe global student travel and study abroad, to create a video showcasing their services and accomplishments. We interviewed the founder–a mother who lost her son during an excursion to Japan–as well as legislators, students, and parents. The result is an authentic journalistic production, geared toward creating awareness about ClearCause Foundation.
STUDENTS TODAY, LEADERS FOREVER
Using a decade of home movies and photos, we wove the deep history and mission of the nonprofit, Students Today, Leaders Forever (STLF), into a compelling narrative. Then we added interviews with past and current participants, to create several emotional and uplifting video stories. STLF now has clear and persuasive messaging to help draw in a new generation of student leaders.
Let us shape the message you want to send, and guide the tone for your gala or event. This video launched a fundraiser for Gigi’s Playhouse, an organization that assists children with Down Syndrome. Told through the voices of parents, it explores the hope families have for their kids’ futures, and how Gigi’s is playing an instrumental part.
Kids in Need of Kindness
Based on your needs and goals, we develop video strategies for you, both big and small:
Bite-sized (powered for social media posts and tweets)
Short-form (utilized for websites and YouTube)
Long-form (perfect for fundraising, marketing, publicity, presentations, consultations)
Documentary-style (suited for educational seminars, training, community awareness programs)
Our award-winning story-telling techniques will inspire, motivate, inform and persuade viewers who watch our video reports. Nothing about them is contrived; they’re created and written through real interviews. No actors, no scripts, nothing phony.
Our presentations are highly visual and will make an emotional connection with your intended audience. We’ll effectively communicate your message, brand, concept, and needs. Our reports get noticed, and in return, you get noticed!
Celebrating Second City
We also help you build on the momentum of our finished productions by showing you how to most effectively use them cultivate the attention of other media – in order to reach the broadest audience possible.
