World AIDS Day 2014
No time to be complacent, survivors face new challenges
"Looking back, it's painful for many of us who lived and lost during the early years of HIV/AIDS," Joyce Mitchell writes. While people infected with HIV are living longer and healthier lives now, there still is no cure. Mitchell celebrates World AIDS Day to remember those who've died from the disease, and educate youth to prevent new HIV infections.
