How one retiree became a political activist
For Jan Parks, retirement wasn't all it was cracked up to be. A life of relaxation and rocking chairs bored her, so she started volunteering. Soon she joined Democratic campaigns for both federal and state offices, helping candidates become congressmen or sheriffs. "I am obsessed," Parks says.
